Engineers first, marketers a long way second.
We were founded in 2007 by structural engineers who were tired of watching insurers and contractors turn a manageable problem into a year‑long ordeal.

Subsidence Ltd exists because traditional underpinning — the default fix for half a century — is a brutal way to repair a home. It costs more than it should, takes longer than it should, and leaves the garden looking like a building site.
We use UK‑sourced two‑part structural resin, injected through 16mm ports, to re‑bear the soil column directly beneath the affected footing. The science is well understood. The difference is in the survey, the soil work, and the pattern of injection — and that's where we spend our time.
Today we work nationwide from six regional hubs, with every engineer carrying a manufacturer‑accredited qualification on top of their CSCS card. We're independently owned, profitable, and have no intention of being acquired.
How we work
- 01
Diagnose before treating.
Every project starts with a laser baseline and a soil probe. We refuse to quote without a survey.
- 02
Plain numbers.
Our quotes are itemised in £ and m². No allowances, no provisional sums, no surprises.
- 03
Leave it tidier than we found it.
Flags reinstated, landscaping restored, dust swept. The neighbours often don't realise we were there.
- 04
Stand behind the work.
Every project is signed off by a competent engineer and backed by a 10‑year written warranty.
The crack stops growing the moment you call.
Tell us what you're seeing. We'll book a same‑week survey, produce a written engineering report, and quote in plain numbers.
